WHO, WHAT, WHY?

In 2018 I decided to take Kung Fu lessons. That's right, a grandmother, in her fifties, STARTING Kung Fu. I had always wanted to learn, but it took being diagnosed with hypertension to spur me into taking action (and I wasn't going to do the gym thing!).

Now , in 2020, I'm in better shape than I have been in years! Yet that wasn't enough. There is so much room for improvement! That's where l Ho Chuan comes in. I Ho Chuan is a mentorship team at Silent River Kung Fu, where I take lessons. It is about striving for mastery, not just in martial arts but in other areas of one's life as well.

That's where this blog comes in. One of the many requirements is to keep a public blog (journal). Along with 50,000 pushups, 50,000 situps, and much more to accomplish in a year.

You are invited to join me on this journey.
