At one of the IHC meetings someone mentioned that using a smart watch to measure all their kilometers felt a bit like cheating, or at least that's what it sounded like to me. I haven't been able to quite get this out of my mind ever since. You see, it keeps making me think of the many times I've heard Sifu Brinker say "effortless effort".
My kilometers are one of my IHC requirements that have most consistently been going up in numbers, and I use an iWatch. By using the watch, am I cheating? Am I not putting on real kilometers? Am I not making an effort?
Because of that quote, "effortless effort" I feel that those kilometers are a win. I've moved my body, using its own energy to move it, 1268 kilometers so far this year. So, I've made the "effort" AND its been "effortless". In other words it's so much of a habit, it's so consistent that it has become "effortless". It just happens.
Now, how do I make the rest of the IHC requirements become "effortless effort"?
