Goals - the unexpected happens

Goals don't always work out as expected.

One of the personal goals I had wanted to set for myself, and which has been a long term goal anyway, was to purchase a larger acreage to turn into an off-grid Permaculture farm. I thought it was a financial impossibility for the purpose of setting I Ho Chuan goals this year. Turns out I was wrong. Thanks to my dad, we were able to make an offer for nearly half a section of land and it has been accepted.

It's interesting how some goals that should be so easy, such as getting the pushups and situps done, can be so hard, and then something that seems so far off in the future, or nearly impossible, can come to fruition much more easily than expected. Of course, now the real work begins!

I guess it goes to show that you shouldn't be afraid to set larger goals.

Anyone got ideas for a farm name?
