I am… Organized

Couldn’t bring myself to say that about myself before, because I don’t feel that I am organized. However, a recent talk about homeostasis made me realize something.

You see, a lot of people seem to think that homeostasis is a static state. It’s not! Homeostasis is the act of ordering and balancing… constantly.

Therefore, I am organized, but in the sense that I’m always learning to be more organized. Tracking things in IHC has been very helpful in that. Am I good at it? Probably not. I am better at it than I was before.

And that leads me to think of mastery in the same way. We are always improving. Mastery isn’t an end goal, nor a static state, but an act of mastering… constantly. Well, I hope it’s constant, at least in that I am better than I was yesterday.
