The scariest part of making the Greatcoat has happened – the first cut of the expensive fabric. Now all the pieces have been cut out except for the lining and things have started to be basted together. Seems to be going well, so far.

Unfortunately, I tend to get rather caught up in projects like this to the exclusion of other things, which is what has happened, again. My numbers would be better otherwise. It’s a tendency I need to learn to overcome. So, while I’m happy about getting this long overdue project going, I’m not happy with my numbers.

Numbers:

Pushups/equivalent: 544

Sit-ups/equivalent: 435

Weapon Form: 21

Hand Form: 121

Random Acts of Kindness: 15

Sparring: 50

Kilometres: 207

Memorize Mastery: Not as diligent this week.

Nurture Relationships: Not so much this week

Blogging: 7

Declutter: Not much done this week on this

Greatcoat project: Body of the coat is basted together. Canvasing has begun.
