Muscle Memory

Something interesting happened during the last livestream class. Those students who had video were paired up and got to "spar" with each other. It was fun! I didn't have the internet ability to be uploading a video stream so I just did a little practice sparring on my own. For example punch, reverse, hook, uppercut; among other sequences. What I noticed was that all of a sudden I found myself doing parts of Da Mu Hsing (a.k.a. Great Mother Form). I guess the practicing, though not to the extent I want it to be, has created some muscle memory. Yay!

In other news, the shoulder has been acting up again (still?), and the other one has been putting its "two cents worth" in as well. So, no exercises for them for the last several days. Even holding a plank is not "fun" at the moment. Pain killers to sleep, even though they are herbal ones, is not the way I want to go, though it's nice to have them when needed.
