Over the Holidays

Can’t really say much about training over the holidays from the martial arts side of of things. Not much training of that kind took place, despite best intentions and plans. We had more family visit than usual and everything seemed to be a rush from here to there and then crash (a.k.a. sleep). It was nice to see everyone though!

I can say that the small amount of physical and other types of decluttering, so far, did seem to make a positive difference in the perceived feelings of stress. I look forward to that continued improvement. So far, it’s such a relief!

I feel that it’s thanks to these changes that I’m finally starting to be able to really start the memorizing of Mastery by Steward Emory. All attempts up until now have been miserable failures. Now, it’s finally starting to stick!

So, while I’m disappointed in myself for my numbers, I am very happy about the progress I have made in other areas that look like they will make better numbers more likely in the future. There is still a long road ahead but it’s so nice to feel like I’m actually moving forward.

Hope everyone had a great holiday. Happy New Year to you!
