Playing Catch Up

Well, I'm already behind on my requirements. Yet, if I look at it objectively it's not all that surprising. Since the start of the I Ho Chuan (IHC) year I have been sick, then there was the 19 day fast, and now we have COVID-19.

Sifu, I know you said to hope for things to go wrong, but I think next time lets be a little less enthusiastic about it :D

Kidding aside, this is a huge learning experience! The whole world is learning. The importance of the internet and access to it for everyone, the importance of being able to work from home, the importance of health, the importance of local economy, the importance of working together, the importance of creativity and problem solving, and so much more!

I have been learning how to do my Kung Fu despite the distractions of my home life. It's been difficult! I miss being able to go to the Kwoon where there was nothing to distract me from Kung Fu! Perhaps I've worked out a solution and perhaps not. We'll see. For now I'm designating Monday as my concentrated Kung Fu day. Yes, I know, "there's Kung Fu everyday" (thank you Sifu). In this case I mean dedicating it to Kung Fu rather than Kung Fu day AND laundry day, mark home-work day, and cleaning day, and, and, and.

I've been trying to do it all intermixed with my other tasks and I'm just getting further behind, and I need to catch up. I need to catch up on a lot of other stuff too! If the definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over and expect a different result, then the obvious choice is to try something different! So, Monday is Kung Fu day.

As we often say around our house, "either it will work, or it won't". We'll see how it goes.
