Today is the first day in a while where I felt unchained from my desk. There's still more work to do but it was nice to "poke my head up" again. Got caught up on reading messages and blogs on Kwoon Talk (a social media site for our Kung Fu school to communicate with one another). Spent more time on my Kung Fu than I usually have lately. Oh it felt good! Love reading what everyone writes!
As many of you know, it's been a struggle for me to figure out how to accomplish all that I set out to do this year, and it turns out that it won't all get accomplished. My team mates have reminded me that it's not about the numbers but about being consistent. Thank you! Well, I haven't been great at that either. At least not lately. That said, things are getting better again. Doing more and more of my IHC requirements. It all reminded me of this video about setting goals "Accomplish Everything With Mini Habits" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHDvEfiSipo
I've changed how I approach recording my IHC requirements (again) so that I can see at a glance if I at least did something each day, even if it wasn't everything. If consistent work is the key then perhaps this will help. It's interesting how if you do one you tend to throw in a few more... since your doing it anyway.
