Today is one of those days when I feel my mental health is down. Good stuff is happening, but small negative things seem to make me crash a little easier than normal.
Situps are picking up again, if not in numbers then in more consistent days.
Did 200 reps with free weights, bench press style, in a single session yesterday. Now I’m waiting to see how my body (shoulders) responds. I’m very concerned about not causing all that inflammation again because I want to keep moving forward… and it really hurt.
Kilometers usually take care of themselves.
I missed this week’s one on one appointment (sorry Sifu!) because I got caught up in my research on beekeeping. We are expecting our bees to arrive in the next couple of weeks and there is still a lot to do and/or consider. Plus, it’s been a long time since we’ve had bees. This is one of the things that helps me pick myself up (mentally/mood) lately. I’ve learned some new things that I hadn’t known before such as, stacking function by putting bees with chickens for pest management. Chickens eat things like small hive beetle, ants, and wax moths, which benefits the bees. There is also the benefit to the chickens in the form of high quality protein feed that we don’t have to pay out of pocket for. The chickens learn not to bother the bees themselves. Win win! The research into mycelium to help the bees overcome Varroa Mite is also very interesting.
The beta version of our forms is due this week and I hope I’m ready.
Still no drawing, and my meditation has dropped off again. As you can see, I’m also late getting my blog out this week. Haven’t been staying up to date reading WhatsApp and the blogs either. Hoping to get some reading of that in before leaving for class tonight.
I feel like nothing seems to be going according to plan.
A down day doesn’t seem like the best time to blog but if I don’t do it I may not get it done.

A down day is probably the best day to blog as it is a better representative of where you are.
I'm excited for your bees!
So are you going to get chickens this year, too?
