Work in Progress - Creature design

The news about the changes for next year, the year of the horse, for the I Ho Chuan team knocked the wind out of my sails much more than I expected. Being sick over Christmas didn’t help either. Although I was only sick for about four days the lingering exhaustion was another matter. I’ve really only started to really feel like myself in the last few days (energy wise) and I’m wondering if I will still feel that way after the first class of the new year.

I also feel like I tried to have too many goals this year and that I need to pair them down next year if I really want to establish lifelong habits that I actually want. I’ve always tended to take on too much and that is an ongoing struggle, learning how much is too much (all at once). Also gauging how much time things take to do; I tend to underestimate the time things will take to get done.

Declutter my life: 43 days – sometimes maintenance declutter and sometimes much more

Greatcoat project: still on the back burner. Pulled out the sewing needle and did a little work on a small unfinished project to start getting my hand back into sewing. Getting old unfinished projects finished is also part of decluttering.

Improved flexibility: Happy to just have the energy to move again, so not much done here lately.
