Plans for Week Two (ish)

Counting weeks from Sunday to Saturday, so it’s the second whole week of the Chinese year.
This year I thought I would aim for blogging twice per week. Why? Because that way it might serve me better, and the bonus would be that I should get my minimum of one per week done more effectively. How can it serve me? By stating my goals for the week at the start and then evaluating my own progress at the end of the week. So, that means a Sunday or Monday blog for the start and a Friday or Saturday blog for the end… barring unforeseen circumstances of course. I thought that putting the goals into smaller chunks rather than the huge goals of things like 50,000 pushups would be easier. Stating them publicly allows me to be more accountable… and for my teammates to give me a kick or poke to keep me going :D
Since I know there will be certain distractions this week I’m planning to do more repetitions per day because it’s pretty much a given that I will be distracted from doing them every day. My goal is to have at least 1000 repetitions of sit-up and push up equivalents done by the end of the week. I’m aiming for a minimum of 50 repetitions of my weapon form and 25 of my hand form.
I switched to attempting to do most of my Kung Fu repetitions in the mornings but it’s amazing how often my plans are thwarted by others. At least there are, usually, fewer interruptions then than any other time of day. Will see how it goes.
Also need to be more mindful of my random acts of kindness and recording them.
The last art mentorship meeting is supposed to take place this week. So, of course, I hope to have all my homework completed by then. I wonder what my homework will be until the next month long mentorship.
