What's the big deal? How's that going to affect my performance? Well it's kind of like having one mosquito in your bedroom when you're trying to sleep at night. Small things really can make a difference. The friction burn is on the base of the spine, right where all the pressure is when you're doing situps.

Guess I'll be catching up on other things while it heals.

Question is, how to prevent it from happening again? I already use a yoga mat. The real problem is that it occurred in a place where the seams of clothing are, and all pants I've ever seen have seams there. Grrr Argh!
