About the only thing I got accomplished during week 11 was working on flexibility, thanks to the Sil Lum seminar. Though I did get my art homework done (no sketches in the sketchbook though).

Now is the time of year when it starts to be very difficult to stick to the plan. The chores at the farm don’t always end when I plan for them to, the weather doesn’t care what my plans are, and I tend to be doing physical work until I’m exhausted. It becomes a delicate balance between having enough energy for both Kung Fu and the chores or whether I do too much of one versus the other (or whether I have one of those episodes of exhaustion that doesn’t correlate to actual physical work done). It also depends on which chores need doing. Some just need doing and that’s all there is to it. If we want to continue to lease out to people for grazing their cattle then fences need to be mended. There are a lot of fences that need mending this year!

I had hoped to get more numbers in before this time of year because I knew that this always happens, but I didn’t get as many in as I was hoping to. It also affects my blogging because when I’m exhausted it’s very hard to think/write.

So, moving forward, I’m going to reduce my blogs down to only the one per week. Hopefully I can maintain that better this year than I have in past years. It’s a little frustrating because I found the two per week for setting goals and reviewing personal progress was very helpful to me. I feel it kept me on track better. I will still be keeping some of that goal setting and evaluation in mind though with the blog.

My goals for week 12 are extremely modest. I want to keep moving forward and kind of test out what works and what doesn’t.
