As expected, this week was busy and made it more difficult to get the numbers in. That said, I’m disappointed in myself because I could have done better than I did. I found myself too easily letting the numbers slide in little spaces of time where I could have done at least some. Not sure why the motivation wasn’t there but that is how it was this week. Now I’m trying to catch up too many numbers on Saturday, which my body doesn’t usually handle well. My weapon form numbers are only up because we did my weapon in class this week.

Did not get chapter 15 of Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance read. Did, at least, get one review of Mastery by Stewart Emory in this week. Did read another section of Four Thousand Weeks (e-book read in doctor’s office waiting room).

The art homework didn’t get fully completed for the week. Still struggling on that aspect of drawing, but that’s why I’m doing this and have a mentor. Progress is being made, it’s just hard. There are some new drawings in the sketchbook – a little bit of study of big cats but more is definitely needed.

The big declutter project I’m working on didn’t get finished but it is much closer.

Got my knee checked by the GP (a new one for me, first official visit) and now need to get imaging done. Not sure he fully comprehends that I’m an athlete. Why are physicians still so stuck on BMI (Body Mass Index)? It’s such a terrible indicator when considering athletes. Based on BMI, Arnold Schwarzenegger, in his body building prime, would have been considered obese. Yet the physician says I weigh too much for my height and wants me to lose weight. Good luck with that! Kung Fu is what put the weight on me in the first place – it’s called muscle mass!

While I still have some "extra pounds" to lose... I totally agree - weight is not an indication of obesity. Muscles weigh more than fat.
